"Unsung Heroes" was a Labor Day extravaganza in the style of Vaudeville that could best be described as a delightful frolic through American labor history. In this "Dinner and a Circus" show, Chance the Hobo Clown was convinced he'd lost his freedom; his fairy-god-creature had vowed to help him find when he lost it. The search led them to meet a handful of labor history's most colorful characters.

Our Gypsy band was be led by accomplished musician Ragon Linde. Lead clown roles were performed by Tanner Starnaut and Di. "Joe Hill" was performed by Jonathan Mooney; with Mistress of Ceremonies Katessa Harkey as "Lady Liberty".

As always, this was an interactive ritual circus experience. There were opportunities throughout the show for audience participation- in which you became a part of the world of the show. Costumes of all types were encouraged but not required. Afterward, we all sat down together and ate a good old-fashioned Americana feast with all the trimmings. Iced tea was provided; the Lodge bar was open for your (very generous) business.

Thank you all for joining us Labor Day 2014 in celebrating the true spirit of patriotism

represented in the stories of these

Unsung Heroes.
